Abstract learning objective: Resistance to thyroid hormone is a rare condition caused by tissue refractiveness to the effects of circulating thyroid and may be misdiagnosed as hyperthyroidism. This syndrome is characterized by elevated circulating thyroid hormones, and unsuppressed TSH levels.
